چکیده

The aim of this study is synthesis molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) and evaluation for extraction catechin. Catechin a bioactive compound which found abundantly in green tea. In paper, MIPs was synthesized by precipitation polymerization technique catechin, acrylic acid trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate as template, functional monomer cross-linker molecular ratio (1:12:12), respectively. Surface morphology the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) demonstrated spheres with nanometric scale. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) showed that catechin molecule captured network copolymers. Porosity were analyzed using Brouneur Emmet Teller (BET) technique. Based on BET analysis, specific surface area 45.5 m2.g-1 while it 42.2 non-imprinted (NIPs). It means imprinting process carried out successfully. Adsorption properties characterized too. best binding capacity reported equal to 440 mg. g-1 750 ppm feed concentration whereas 84mg.g-1 quercetin (similar structure catechin). confirms technology can be introduced good candidate separation satisfactory result selectivity. evaluated natural extract tea high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) device similar results obtained. According above mentioned results, pre-concentration compounds from medicinal plants suggested via

Supramolecular recognition of estrogens via molecularly imprinted polymers

The isolation and preconcentration of estrogens from new types of biological samples (acellular and protein-free simulated body fluid) by molecularly imprinted solid-phase extraction has been described. In this technique, supramolecular receptors, namely molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) are used as a sorbent material. The recognition sites of MIPs were prepared by non-covalent multiple int...

A Path to Soluble Molecularly Imprinted Polymers

Molecular imprinting is a technique for making a selective binding site for a specific chemical. The technique involves building a polymeric scaffold of molecular complements containing the target molecule. Subsequent removal of the target leaves a cavity with a structural "memory" of the target. Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) can be employed as selective adsorbents of specific molecules...
